Do you love entertaining?  Then it’s time to get out those recipes for your Dallas Super Bowl Party!  Super Bowl Sunday is one of the best day’s of the year.  What better way to enjoy friends and family, not to mention showing off your cooking skills, than having a Super Bowl Party.  And from our experience, a Super Bowl Party in Dallas is better than anywhere else in the country!

Evidently the Star-Telegram agrees.  Did you see their online post to day?  They’re looking for the BEST Super Bowl Recipes of the year.  Here’s an excerpt sharing more info:

Do you make a Super Bowl party dish that is gone by halftime every year? Something that gets your fellow game watchers out of the same rut eating delivery pizza, takeout wings, and store-bought guacamole?

We want you to share it with us. Whether you serve a killer homemade wing sauce or a bowl of red that’s different from all the rest, we want you to send us your best recipes for homemade Super Bowl snacks.

We’ll pick several to sample and publish in the Life & Arts section prior to this year’s big game Feb. 5.A few notes on the recipes: They must be original or adapted. (The recipe for Chex mix from the back of the box will be tossed.) Make sure to list all the ingredients and give complete instructions; please include serving size or yield.

Also, please tell us a little about the recipe — where it came from, why folks love it or a funny vignette about serving it at a party. Photos of the dish are optional.If your recipe is chosen for possible publication, you may be asked to provide a sample for tasting and will be contacted for an interview and photo shoot.
